The Market UK was founded by Emma, a small business owner and the creator of plant and planter brand Little Pricks. After attending countless markets and events over the years, Emma developed a strong understanding of what makes a successful, well-curated event.

With a background in retail, event hospitality, and creative qualifications, Emma brings both practical experience and a creative eye to every event. Prior to launching The Market UK, she co-ran several successful events under Shop Small Leam with a friend. Building on this experience, The Market UK was officially founded in Christmas 2024. In 2025, The Market UK delivered four completely new events and is now looking to expand further.

The Market UK events are carefully curated, championing independent businesses while also collaborating with local artists and charities to support and celebrate the communities in which they take place.
