Unloading info

Timings:

The event will open to the public at 10am and traders will begin packing down at around 3pm.
Unloading will begin at 8:30am. People will not be able to pack up until the event is finished at 3pm unless they have prior agreement from myself.
DirectionsIf you are using a satnav/google maps please use this address to gain access to the event: Market Place, Romsey SO51 8NA. This postcode should bring you to the site.  Please make sure you are not blocking the roads.
Unloading & ParkingIt is unloading only on the site. Once you have unloaded please get back into your vehicle to park (see Parking attached). You may erect your gazebo but must not start setting up your stall until you have moved your vehicle. All vehicles must be off site by 9:30am.
Your pitch
  • You are required to bring your own gazebo, tables and chairs for this event. Please also bring appropriate weights for your gazebo even if the forecast is for low winds.
  • The space that you have been assigned must not be exceeded.
Floorplan
Will be done in advance of the event and sent out the week of the event. If you have a specific request for pitch position please let us know.
Electricity
Electricity will only be provided to those who booked in advance of the event. If you have booked electricity please bring appropriate connectors/adaptors and extension cables with you and ensure that all your equipment is PAT tested. The electric points are an industrial power socket and an extension cable or connector that fits into either a 32amp or 16amp 3 pin socket is required.

Please also bring a cable cover to cover your wires.

Wifi
There is no wifi for this event but there is good 4G connection in the town centre.
Waste
Please take all of your waste with you as per our terms and conditions. We are unable to accommodate your waste.
Pack up
  • The event finishes at 3pm.
  • Strictly no packing away before 3pm as this could become a safety issue with patrons still at the event.
  • No vehicles allowed onsite till 3pm.
  • Vehicles will leave the site the same way you drove on going against each other, please take extra care when leaving the site. An event team member will be directing traffic.
Health & Safety
What you will need to trade on the day:
  • Public liability insurance.
  • Risk assessment
  • Pat certificate (if using electricity)
If you are serving food:
  • A copy of your Food Safety Certificate
  • Food safety risk assessment including allergen information and fire risk assessment (if cooking)
  • Gas safety certificate (if cooking on gas)
  • Appropriate sneeze guards covering your food
  • Way of cleaning your hands before you touch food
  • A cover or matting to cover the venue floor so there are no food spillages/stains (if you damage the venue floor and you will be liable for any damages)
All traders must have the above. If you do not have these you will not be able to trade on the day.
