We are thrilled to be curating a brand new Christmas market for the Royal Society of Arts on Saturday 6th December as part of their wider Christmas event. This is a one day opportunity to trade in their iconic spaces: the Benjamin Franklin Room and the Great Room. The RSA will be promoting the event widely to their members with free tickets available.
RSA House is a striking, central London venue set near the Strand and Covent Garden. It is a graceful historic building blending Georgian splendour with modern design and offers atmospheric indoor spaces. The market will sit along other festive food and beverage offers and activations in the space including a Santa’s grotto.

Applications will open to members ONLY until Thursday 23 October. Non-members can apply from Friday 24 October and applications will close on Friday 31 October.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The market will be across two spaces and we are looking for up to 20 traders per space (up to 40 traders in total).

Original work which is either handmade by you or produced in the UK on a small scale using your original designs

Handmade products that are particularly giftable and appropriate to Christmas.

The markets have a modern aesthetic so consider if your brand has the crafty feel we are looking for - you will find plenty of examples of traders and products at our market on our Facebook and Instagram pages

This event is curated to a brief set by the venue to ensure a balanced mix of traders that will appeal to the audience. We will do our best to spread the opportunity to as many selected traders as possible.

When: Saturday 6 December, 11-5pm
Where: RSA House, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ
Timings: Set up from 9.30am, market open from 11.00am-5pm.
About the Market: This will be our first time hosting an event at the RSA. With this in mind, Crafty Fox Market is responsible for the operations and curation of the market but are not adding our branding to the event. The RSA are responsible for the promotion of the market and selling free tickets. CFM will promote the event online, share the digital flyer with traders and produce content for social media as an event ‘curated by Crafty Fox Market’.
Price: 6ft trestle table - £60 (incl VAT). Chairs are provided. Without guarantees of this being run under our brand, trading slots are being offered at a reduced rate to traders.
Transport: Closest stations are Charing Cross and Embankment which are around a 5-minute walk from the venue, with Covent Garden and Leicester Square just a little further.
Unloading / parking: Loading bay outside the venue, traders will need to find their own parking.
Why trade: Trading at RSA House offers the chance to showcase your work in one of London’s most beautiful historic venues, right in the heart of the West End. This will also be an exciting opportunity to trade and reach a new audience at a key retail time.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
As a small business ourselves, we spend a significant amount of time negotiating with a venue, securing trading dates, managing the applications for a market and publicising the event and we can find ourselves in a tricky situation in the event of a cancellation.
If your application is successful but subsequently you are unable to attend, we will reference our terms of trading in your refund. If it is more than 30 days before the event, we will refund stall fees minus a £20 administration fee. If it is between 14 - 30 days before the event, we will refund 50% of stall fees. No refunds will be provided if less than 14 days notice is provided regardless of the circumstances.
In the event of a market date being cancelled by us due to forces beyond our control, we will offer a refund on your trading fees, minus £25 per trader. We hope you understand our reasons for doing this and thank you for your consideration.
