Here's the lowdown on The Crafty Assemble Christmas Market at Yarn Studios in Shipley:

Our festive market is hosted on the top floor of Yarn Studios, so just a heads-up, there are three flights of stairs to get up there.

This event is a 'bring your own table' affair. You'll need to supply your own table, so please only apply if you're happy to do so! We're offering two stall sizes to fit your needs: you can choose between a 6ft or a 4ft space.

Due to request we have now added table hire to our offer option. If we have enough people then we will look to hire these for you, although there will be an additional cost for these tables.

We're putting together a truly magical day to showcase the best of handmade talent for the Christmas season. We're really looking forward to seeing your applications!

Terms and Conditions

The Crafty Assemble Artisan Markets

By applying for and participating in The Crafty Assemble Artisan Markets (the "Event"), you ("the Stallholder") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, safe, and successful event for everyone involved.

  1. Application & Payment
  • All applications must be submitted via the official application form by the stated deadline.
  • Spaces are limited and will be allocated at the organiser’s discretion. We'll let you know if you've got a spot as soon as we can.
  • Full payment for your stall fee is required within 3 days of your application being approved and invoice issued. If payment isn't received, your spot may be offered to another lovely maker.
  • All fees are non-refundable, unless the Event is cancelled by the organiser (see Point 7).
  1. Stall Allocation & Setup
  • Stall locations will be allocated by the organiser. While we'll do our best to accommodate any specific requests, we can't always guarantee them.
  • Stallholders are responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, and display equipment, unless otherwise specified for the particular venue. Please check the event specifics carefully!
  • Setup times will be provided in advance. You'll need to be fully set up and ready to trade by the official opening time.
  • All displays must be safe, stable, and not impede public walkways or other stalls.
  1. Products
  • Only products specified and approved in your application can be sold or displayed. We love unique creations, but please stick to what you told us you'd bring!
  • All products must be handmade, designed, or significantly altered by the Stallholder. This is an artisan market, after all!
  • It's your responsibility to ensure all your products comply with relevant safety regulations and legal requirements.
  • The organiser reserves the right to ask you to remove any items deemed inappropriate or not in keeping with the market's ethos.
  1. Insurance & Liability
  • All Stallholders must have valid Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of £5 million. You'll need to provide proof of this upon request. No insurance, no trading, simple as that.
  • The organiser will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of Stallholder property or stock. Please keep your eye on your lovely creations!
  • Stallholders are solely responsible for their own sales, transactions, and cash handling.
  1. Conduct
  • Stallholders are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner towards customers, other Stallholders, and the event organisers.
  • Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate removal from the Event without refund.
  • Please keep your stall area tidy and free from rubbish throughout the day.
  1. Pack Down
  • Pack down can only commence at the official closing time of the Event. No early packing up, please!
  • Stallholders must ensure their area is completely cleared of all rubbish and left as they found it.
  1. Event Cancellation or Changes
  • In the unlikely event that the organiser has to cancel the market due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, venue issues), a full refund of your stall fee will be issued. We'll do our best to give you as much notice as possible.
  • The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the Event layout, opening hours, or any other aspect of the market if necessary.
  1. Marketing & Photography
  • By participating, you grant the organiser permission to use photographs or videos taken at the Event, which may include your stall and products, for promotional purposes. We love to show off our wonderful makers!
