Victoria Baths, Manchester

A wonderful market in these historical baths - the market is open to artisans, makers, creators, food stalls (excluding food that can be eaten on site - eg cake) and vintage sellers!

Victoria Baths, Manchester

I'm thrilled to be back at Victoria Baths, Manchester for autumn and winter 2026.

Markets will take place on Saturday 24th October and Sunday 13th December, with opening times likely to be 11am until 4pm - but this will be confirmed.

I am looking to host something slightly different at this venue - and as well as artisans I welcome applications from makers, creators, vintage curators, and farmers market type food/drinks.  I am unable to have cake stalls though, or food designed to be eaten on site.

The venue will be running their own tea shop on the day.

There are three pools which will be used for stalls, and additional areas including the sauna and balcony which I can also use if need be.  Please note that the pools are slopped, and although it is only gradual, there are no completely flat stalls in two of them.

There is an option to hire a table in all areas, and everyone will be provided with two chairs.  I have also included an option for a 9ft stall, as well as a standard 6ft option.

Please note - you will need to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your stall.  This is due to the venue hire cost, and how much I have already had to pay.  The remaining balance is due 70 days before the market.

The pools are as follows:

Gala pool - this is accessed by a short staircase in to the pool, and will have a lift added to allow those in wheelchairs to access the space.  Stallholders can also use this to take their trolley/stock in to the pool.  There is also space for 5 stalls out of the pool, so on the flat.

Sports Hall - this is a covered pool and is completely flat, and therefore accessible to all.  The sports hall also has a balcony which may be used for 'inaccessible stalls' if needed, but this isn't currently in plan.

Female pool - this pool has steps going down in to it, but doesn't have space for a lift.  So it is classed as 'inaccessible' as wheelchairs can't enter it.  This is reflected in the hirer cost.  It is the first pool people access though and was as busy as the others at my first market!

Here's a summary of the stall locations and what you are applying for:

Accessible

These are the stalls in the gala pool, around the edge of the gala pool and in the sports hall

Inaccessible

These are in the female pool, and on the balcony, but I don't plan to use that currently.

Stalls costs start from £50 depending on where you are, the size of stall and if you’re bringing a table.

Parking is available onsite for a small number of stallholders, and there is a NCP car park close by.  It's a 9 min taxi from Manchester Piccadilly train station, and 20 mins from Manchester Victoria.

If you have any questions before applying, please get in touch on instagram, or at [email protected].

Thanks.
