Event information;

The events will trade from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Set-up is strictly from 8.45 a.m. and not before.

Your stall must be packed away and the venue vacated by 2.45 p.m.

There is plenty of free parking in the town. There's parking directly outside the hotel for unloading. You must move your vehicle after unloading to long stay parking elsewhere during the event, as parking on the square is limited to 2 hours. You can return for loading after the event. Late comers may be refused to exhibit. A refund will not be given. You must be ready to trade by the event start at 10 a.m.

Tables are 6ft in length. The stall price is £23.

You will be provided with a space to trade, including a table (or tables) with a length spanning 6ft. This will include two chairs.

You may be permitted to bring a clothing rail, or extra shelving or other furniture, by prior arrangement, but space is limited to one stall per event, so this space is allocated on a first come, first booked and paid basis. The stall price for this is £28.

Terms & conditions;

You are required to advertise the event on your business website and/or social media platforms from 7 days prior and leading up to the event. The event will be heavily publicised across various physical,  media and social media platforms by the organiser.

You must supply evidence of your valid Public liability insurance certificate to the organiser via email on success of your application being accepted. If you do not supply this, your application will be cancelled.

We do NOT accept applications from cake and traybake sellers as the venue sells these items.

If you make anything that has 'play value' you must supply all the relevant legal documents regarding safety testing and your items must display the relevant UKCA labelling.

Smoking; smoking/vaping is not permitted within the venue. If you are a smoker, we respectfully ask that you do so, well away from the venue, and not directly outside the open doors to the venue as we had complaints last year from other vendors about cigarette smoke drifting back into the room. Thank you.

Late cancellations, 30 days prior to the event start, will not be refunded.

If you change your mind or are unable to attend for any reason, you must cancel your stall via eventaly.com and will receive a 50% refund only if you cancel in writing before 30 days prior to the event start. You must also cancel in writing by emailing the organiser at [email protected] ONLY and not by social media messaging. You are not permitted to send another seller in your place.

You must trade by the same business name for which you made an application. You may not share the stall with another business,  nor sell your stall or send someone in your place that is another un-vetted seller. You may only sell items made by your business and not sell items made by another individual. You may only sell what you stated on your application and must not deviate from the brief. You must not sell anything that is deemed illegal.

By accepting and purchasing a stall, you therefore agree to the terms and conditions listed above. If you break the terms and conditons your stall will be cancelled and no refund will be given. All future bookings will also be cancelled and no refund will be given.

The Good Market September 2026

Terms and Conditions

Hello! My name is Kirsti and I'm the organiser of The Good Market here in beautiful Kelso!

As a creative person, with their own business, I recognised the need for an indoor, specially curated, makers and artist market here in Kelso. As most of my own products are made with either fabric or yarn, my products aren't really suited to be displayed at an outdoor venue in such inclement weather as we sometimes get!

We also seemed to be missing an event that was designed to support and showcase the very best of local talent.

Here at The Good Market, we're focusing our events on small businesses. Our chosen makers will be of high quality and the events themselves will be well advertised and promoted, there will be support available on the day.
