Night market subject to trader uptake.

Our Night Markets are designed to create a lively evening atmosphere and give traders an additional opportunity to reach customers outside traditional daytime market hours. Running from 5pm–9pm, they aim to attract people into town after work and encourage visitors to stay, browse, shop, eat and enjoy the evening.

We’ll be promoting each event across our social media channels in the lead-up to the market, with a strong focus on supporting independent businesses, local makers, producers, street food and unique traders. The evening format also gives us the opportunity to create a different feel from our regular markets, with lighting and entertainment helping to build atmosphere and encourage longer dwell time.

As evening markets are particularly weather dependent, each Night Market will be confirmed three days before the event, once we have a reliable forecast. This helps us avoid putting traders through unnecessary preparation and travel when conditions are unsuitable.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space at all Night Markets. The remaining balance will only become payable once the event has been confirmed. If we are unable to proceed due to the weather, there will be no additional charge beyond your deposit.

Spaces are limited and we’ll aim to maintain a good mix of traders and products to create an interesting, varied market for visitors.
