These stalls are treated as craft pitches for pricing purposes.

Food traders selling hot or ready-to-eat food who typically require electricity and/or additional space. Price shown is up to 5m length (larger trailers / vehicles can be accommodated but price will be pro-rated).
This category includes street food vendors, hot food units, and traders using powered equipment.

If you are not sure which stall category you fit, please email [email protected] with details of your setup.

  • Themed Events: We have different types of markets on different dates. Please make sure you read the event details on the events information page of our website before applying.

  • Set-up: Detailed setup and unloading instructions will be issued before each event.
  • Eligibility: All products must be handmade or handcrafted by the trader – no bought-in or mass-produced goods.

  • Payment: A deposit is required to secure your place; full payment deadlines will be confirmed on acceptance.
  • Cancellations: Our standard terms apply (see full Terms & Conditions when applying).

Terms and Conditions

Jabbawocky Crafts Village

General Terms and Conditions

Published 26 October 2025

These terms and conditions apply to all stallholders trading at Jabbawocky Crafts Village Events and may be updated periodically.

  1. Booking Confirmation and payment
  • Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the payment in line with the terms on the invoice:
    • An initial, non-refundable deposit will be immediately payable to confirm your booking.
    • The final payment is due according to the invoice terms. It is typically due 90 days before the event, but this may vary.
  • You agree to pay the full pitch fee by the specified due date. If full payment is not received on time, Jabbawocky Crafts Village reserves the right to cancel your booking without further notice. In such cases, any deposit or partial payments made shall be forfeited and retained by Jabbawocky Crafts Village to cover administration costs. Jabbawocky Crafts Village may then reallocate the pitch to another stallholder without further obligation to the original stallholder. Time is of the essence in this agreement, and it is the stallholder’s responsibility to ensure timely payment to secure their pitch.

  1. Cancellation by Participant:
    • We recognise that unforeseen circumstances may arise which may prevent you from attending the event. We will make every effort to accommodate such changes; however, please note that we cannot guarantee this without notice.
    • If you need to cancel your attendance, we will issue a full refund of the amount paid for the event, minus a £25 administrative fee, provided we can fill all available spaces. Please note that this refund policy applies only if all payments are received according to the terms outlined in the invoice and we are able to fill all spaces at the event

  1. Event Changes
  • We reserve the right to change the event schedule or location. Participants will be notified in advance.

  1. Participant Requirements
  • During the event, all participants must adhere to the safety guidelines provided.
  • Minimum age requirements may apply, and participants must adhere to them.

  1. Stalls, set up, and take-down
  • The organiser assigns stall locations, which are non-negotiable.
  • Special requests for specific locations will be considered but are not guaranteed.
  • Unless stated otherwise, Table spaces are 6 feet (1.83m) wide and you must bring your own table.
  • Unless stated otherwise, the Gazebo spaces are 3m x 3m, and you must bring your own Gazebo.
  • The following terms apply to outside spaces:
    • When using a temporary structure outside (e.g., a Gazebo), it is essential to ensure it is properly anchored or weighted. The weights used should be strong enough to hold the structure securely in high winds and specifically designed for this purpose. Even on days when the weather appears calm, sudden gusts of wind can occur. It is important to note that there are no exceptions to this rule based on the current state of the weather.
    • You need to bring your own anchors or weights suitable for the situation, such as metal gazebo weights.
    • In the case of gazebos, each leg of the structure must be anchored. Other types of structure will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
    • Tying any structure to another structure, part of the building, or vehicle is unacceptable.
    • In the event of extreme weather, it may be necessary to refuse the use of gazebos altogether or to cancel an event entirely in the interest of public safety (see section on Force Majure)
  • Participants are responsible for any damage to facilities, materials or equipment caused by negligence.
  • Stallholders must adhere to the setup and breakdown times communicated by the organiser. These will vary and will be communicated in advance of each event.
  • Stallholders are expected to attend the entire duration of the market. Early departure without prior agreement may affect future bookings.
  • Vehicle movement will be restricted during and after the event. Please follow the instructions provided before each event and obey guidance from event officials.
  • Vehicles used at any event site are at their owners’ risk and must be suitably insured. Please follow all instructions given and drive carefully and slowly.
  • Please keep your area (including the area behind and in front of your stall) clean and tidy during the day, and ensure your pitch is completely clear at the end of the day. Leave the area as you found it, and take your rubbish with you.
  • Non-compliance may lead to extra charges or restrictions on future bookings.

  1. Photography and Promotion
  • By participating, you grant permission for event-related photos to be used for promotional purposes.
  • Please respect the privacy of other participants and seek their consent before capturing their images.
  • You are actively encouraged to share details of events on social media – if everyone does this, then ‘reach’ will be considerably higher

  1. Liability & Risk
  • The organiser is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event.
  • Participants should secure their personal belongings.
  • Stallholders are required to have public liability insurance with a minimum coverage of £1 million.
  • Stallholders must have a thorough and documented risk assessment to identify key risks and appropriate mitigating actions.
  • The organiser is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the stallholder's property.
  • Sub-contracting stalls in whole or part of stalls by stallholders is strictly prohibited. Please get in touch with us if you are unable to attend.

  1. Force Majeure
  • The organiser is not liable for failing to perform its obligations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control (e.g., weather).

  • Stallholders must comply with Health, Safety and Hygiene Legislation.
  • Stallholders are responsible for obtaining all licences and permits required by law, where applicable. This includes, but is not limited to, food and alcohol; these documents must be available for inspection on the day by the venue, Jabbawocky Crafts Village, or any relevant authority that may conduct checks.
  • Stallholders must fully cooperate with officials, including site management, security, emergency services, police, and all official organisations, such as environmental health officers, fire officers, customs and excise staff, the Environment Agency, trading standards officers, and Inland Revenue staff, if necessary.
  • Any non-compliance may result in expulsion from the market without a refund.

  1. Products and Display
  • Only products in line with your application are allowed. Please get in touch with us if you wish to change this
