Makers Market – Bellfield
Set in the heart of Portobello, Bellfield is a wonderful community venue and the perfect home for our monthly Portobello Makers Markets.
Our markets will bring together a gorgeous collection of independent makers, Scottish artists and creative businesses, alongside seasonal workshops and opportunities to get creative.
Our Markets
Each market is carefully curated to showcase a wonderful mix of locally made, handmade products, celebrating the creativity and talent of independent makers from across Scotland.
Visitors can discover everything from artwork, jewellery and ceramics to textiles, candles, skincare, homewares, accessories and lots more.
We're also delighted to continue supporting Young Makers under 18, offering specially reduced table fees, giving the next generation of creatives the opportunity to experience trading at a Makers Market.
Our markets are all about bringing people together, celebrating creativity, supporting small businesses and encouraging everyone to shop small and support local.
Workshop Opportunities
Alongside our Makers Markets, we'd love to offer a programme of creative workshops, giving visitors the chance to try something new, learn a skill and connect with local creatives.
Workshop opportunities and session times will be announced separately.
Applications
Each market is carefully curated to ensure a lovely mix of products, with limited spaces available in each category.
All applicants will receive an email confirming the outcome of their application following the relevant closing dates.

Successful traders will receive a market information email four weeks before their market, covering everything they need to know about setup, access, parking and market day arrangements.
