Linlithgow Night Market

The Market is inside the Low Port Centre which is a community centre in Linlithgow.

Linlithgow Night Market is mainly run on Friday nights from 4-9pm but this is open to change going forward, we do have a few 2 day events. Some of the markets are themed : Spring Equinox, MId Summer Nights,Autumn Equinox, Halloween, Christmas and Winter Solstice.

The building has many rooms over 2 levels with tea, coffee, cake, hot food vendors, pop up pubs from local craft beer, gin and other alcohol makers.

Plus 40 handmade makers each with their own individual style.

Many of the markets are themed and all individually curated so that there is a variety of traders attending each market.

Terms and Conditions

Linlithgow Night Market:

Trader Terms & Conditions

​Eligible Goods & Trading ​Approval: Traders must submit descriptions/photos of goods. All items must be handmade or feature original designs. No AI or resellers allowed.

​Trading Hours: Usually 4pm–9pm or 12pm–6pm. Traders must stay for the full duration unless the Organiser grants early exit. ​

Pitch Allocation: The Organiser has sole discretion over stall placement. ​

Standards: Stalls must be professional. Personal infrastructure must be high-quality and appropriately weighted. ​

Logistics & Safety ​Set Up/Pack Down:

Follow specific event parking instructions. Leave the site clean, removing all rubbish and attachments from equipment. ​

Weather: Events are mostly indoors and run in all weather unless extreme conditions force a safety closure. Traders should check status with the Organiser. ​

Safety: Keep walkways clear of trip hazards and sharp edges. Smoking is prohibited near the building. ​

Conduct & Compliance ​Behaviour: Respectful conduct toward staff, other traders, and the public is mandatory. Abuse, aggression, or intoxication will result in an immediate ban.

​Directions: Traders must strictly follow Organiser directions regarding risk management and safety.

The Organiser’s decision on any dispute is final. ​

Legal & Insurance ​Documentation: Traders must provide Public Liability Insurance (minimum £1M) and all requested legal documents upon registration and renewal.

​Warranties: By booking, traders warrant that they own their goods, information provided is accurate, and they hold all necessary licenses.

​Liability: The Organiser is not liable for loss, theft, injury, or lack of sales/profits. ​

Food & Alcohol

​Food: Must have a valid Food Hygiene Certificate and local EHO registration. Insurance must cover food contamination.

​Alcohol: All sales must follow Challenge 25 guidelines. Traders are responsible for their own licence with the council. ​

Bookings & Payments

Invitations: Sent via Eventaly. Pitches are at the Organiser's discretion and not guaranteed monthly. ​

Deadlines: Payment is due 21 working days before the event. Unpaid pitches may be reallocated. ​

Cancellations: ​Notice must be given at least 2 weeks prior. ​

Refunds (minus an admin fee) are only issued if another stall holder is able to fill the space. ​

No refunds for bad weather unless the Organiser cancels the event, in which case partial refunds may be issued at their discretion
