Clydeside at Christmas is BACK for its second year – and for 2026 we're making it bigger and better than ever!
Following the fantastic success of our 2025 Christmas night markets, we're returning to Lanark Agricultural Centre for THREE festive evenings:
Wednesday 9th December
Thursday 10th December
Friday 11th December
4pm – 8pm each evening
Clydeside at Christmas is much more than a market. We want to create a festive destination where visitors can meet friends and family, shop from incredible independent businesses, enjoy fantastic food and drink, listen to live music and soak up the Christmas atmosphere – all completely indoors and protected from the Scottish December weather!
THE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING HALL
Our concourse will become our Christmas Shopping Hall, filled with an exciting and carefully selected mix of independent makers, artists, designers, creators and small businesses.
We're looking for beautiful gifts, jewellery, accessories, homeware, candles, fragrance, art, clothing, beauty, pet products, Christmas gifts and decorations, handmade products and plenty more.
Our aim is to give visitors a fantastic Christmas shopping experience while showcasing some of Scotland's brilliant independent businesses.
NEW FOR 2026 – THE FOOD & DRINK HALL
One of our biggest changes for 2026 is the introduction of our dedicated Food & Drink Hall.
ALL food and drink exhibitors will be brought together under one roof, allowing us to transform the hall into a bustling festive food and drink destination.
Alongside our artisan food and drink exhibitors, visitors will find street food traders, picnic-style seating, live music and our licensed bar.
We want visitors to stay and enjoy the experience – grab dinner after work, meet friends, enjoy a drink, listen to the music, discover fantastic independent food and drink producers and then continue their Christmas shopping.
We'll be actively promoting the Food & Drink Hall as one of the major attractions of Clydeside at Christmas and encouraging visitors to come hungry, leave the car at home and make an evening of it!
We'd particularly love to hear from bakers, confectioners, chocolatiers, cheese producers, butchers, artisan food producers, preserves and sauces, festive food specialists, sweet treats, hot drinks, independent drinks producers and a varied selection of street food traders.
Please note: ALL businesses whose primary products are food or drink will be located within the dedicated Food & Drink Hall for 2026. Food and drink pitches will not be available within the Christmas Shopping Hall/main concourse.
THREE NIGHTS – A DIFFERENT MIX EACH EVENING
Applications are available for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and businesses are welcome to apply for one, two or all three evenings.
We intend to carefully curate the line-up across the three nights, introducing different businesses and products while retaining a fantastic mix for our visitors each evening.
Applying for multiple evenings does not automatically guarantee acceptance for every date requested.
WHY JOIN CLYDESIDE AT CHRISTMAS?
Clydeside at Christmas will be supported by a substantial promotional campaign across radio, social media, digital advertising, print, banners and our own established audience.
Public entry will be completely FREE, helping remove barriers to attendance and encouraging visitors to come along, bring friends and family and enjoy everything the event has to offer.
We are looking for high-quality, professional and friendly independent businesses who want to be part of creating a fantastic Christmas experience.
Spaces within individual categories will be limited to ensure we maintain a varied and interesting line-up.
